Olori Sweater Tee This raglan sweater tee is worked in the round, from the top down using basic knit and purl skills. It is seamless. The sleeves are worked as you work the yoke. No need to fear being stuck on sleeve island. It is made with 1 - 2” / 2.5 - 5 cm of positive ease in mind.
If using Lion Brand Chainette Yarn as per sample in pattern, you will need: 5 (5, 6, 7, 7) (9, 9, 10, 11) skeins
It is available as a knit kit from Lion Brand. You would get all the yarn required for your size of interest, along with the complimentary pattern. To purchase the kit, please use my affiliate link here. Please note that I receive a small commission without any additional cost to you :)
I like to think of Olori Sweater Tee as the perfect transitional wear. It is a simple top-down raglan project that is suitable for a garment newbie. If you do not like to be stuck on sleeve island, this project is for you! You knit your short sleeves as you go!
As a fun fact, Olori means Queen in Yoruba language, a Nigerian dialect. As this is my very first garment design, I believe this pattern would pave the way for many more to come!
I hope you enjoy this project as much as I did, and still do!
